Daniel O'Connor, MD

Cataract & Glaucoma Specialist

Dr. O’Connor is a board-certified ophthalmologist with over 20 years of experience in glaucoma and microsurgical eye care. He specializes in early detection and treatment of glaucoma and performs advanced medical, laser, and surgical procedures, including cataract and refractive surgery.

He earned his medical degree from Tulane University School of Medicine, completed his ophthalmology residency at the University of Pittsburgh’s Eye and Ear Institute, and completed a Glaucoma Fellowship at Yale University School of Medicine. Dr. O’Connor has performed over 25,000 microsurgical and laser procedures and has lectured internationally on eye disease detection and treatment.

He currently serves on the staff of Beth Israel Deaconess Plymouth Hospital and Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary and is the Medical Director of the Plymouth Laser & Surgical Center. Dr. O’Connor is committed to providing skillful, compassionate care using the latest technologies to preserve and enhance vision.
